This photo was taken in Toronto Ontario (Canada), a city I love to visit. First of all because of the relaxed atmosphere in this city, but also because of its amazing architecture. Especially in the financial district, you can find interesting buildings that impress me time and again. Packed with my camera and tripod, I went into the city centre. I often tell people: look back or up and be surprised when you walk through the city. Especially in downtown Toronto, where the skyscrapers are so close together. Looking up here, these 2 offices caught my eye. It was a clear day, the sun was shining and there was a nice reflection in the middle where the 2 buildings met. I thought it was an interesting composition and took this photo of it.
But just pressing the button doesn't get me there yet, it needs some work at home. Indeed, at home I process 99% of my photos because there I have access to a large screen, a fast desktop and a Wacom drawing tablet to quietly edit my photos so that it is suitable to hang on your wall. Making this shot a bit darker, adding more contrast and taking out the colour really brought this fine art photo to life.
