About the artwork

The artwork shows the modern glass façade of the Futurium in Berlin - a building characterised by its clear lines and reflective surface. The multi-storey structure is surrounded by trees and a paved square. Bicycles, parking signs and bollards can be seen in the foreground, lending the image an everyday urban dimension. The glass façade itself reflects parts of the surroundings, creating an interplay between architecture and urban landscape.

The inspiration for this work came from an interest in the interface between technology, urban development and public space. I was attracted by the way the building not only takes up space, but also interacts with its surroundings through its reflective surface.

The atmosphere is matter-of-fact and calm, with a focus on structure and clarity. The image conveys a sense of openness and modern order - without appearing sterile. It invites you to reflect on the role of architecture in an urban context.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
