About ‘Fantasy’ by Bianca van der Reijden

While working in basic acrylic spray, it is always surprising to me what reveals itself on the surface during the drying process.

The resulting figures that I accentuate with acrylic paint, charcoal and pastels seem to have no direct correspondence with how and what we are used to seeing.
I find this a beautiful translation to our lives, because not everything is always visible or explainable on the surface there either.

For me, differences, the non-standard are allowed to coexist.

Because of its surprising character and cheerful colours, I enjoyed this work.

As far as I am concerned, it suits many interior styles. In particular with people who like to be surprised. For whom an art creation does not have to be standard according to fixed frameworks.

My creations are usually not standard, arising from intuition and through the technique I usually use. This also keeps it surprising and challenging for myself.
During the drying process of acrylic spray, little faces and special creatures often arise spontaneously, which I accentuate.

I have been working creatively since my early childhood, which is wonderful and relaxing. Apart from training as a florist, I have never had any creative training.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
