You may know that I live in Mallorca. But as beautiful as Mediterranean nature is, it doesn't have the richness of a tropical vegetation. I love to immerse myself in colour, so I revel in various shades of green here. Of course, a complementary accent like the red hibiscus should not be missing for a perfect rainforest feeling. At the same time, I tried a new technique with this artwork, because I love to reinvent myself all the time. This image was created using simple shapes / vectors only. I deliberately created the impression that these are not 3-dimensional plants, but rather layers, one behind the other - similar to what you know from "older" theatre performances. It is a backdrop that creates a perfect illusion and I like this deliberately artificial effect very much (without using artificial intelligence).
