Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Geisha with kimono of cherries and cherry blossoms’ by Britta Glodde

The theme of my latest "Veggie Lady" is cherries, as you can easily see. However, a cherry by itself is quite unspectacular. They are more or less round and small. So what could be more obvious than to bring the cherry blossom into play as well? I don't know about you, but when I think of cherry and cherry blossom, Japan immediately comes to mind. This may be because I have had a love for ancient Japan since childhood. Back then, my aunt had given me a children's book that introduced me to this culture. Since all the pictures in this series are surreal, what could be more natural than to create a kimono out of cherries. On one side 3-dimensional, on the other side flat like a printed fabric. And of course the cherry mouth! I was amazed at how easy it is to represent this fruit as a mouth when you step back a little.
This picture is definitely a must have for lovers of old Japan. But beyond that, I have also received a lot of encouragement from people who have a penchant for pink and vintage. I am very happy if this work finds its way into your rooms and makes you dream a little.
About the creation: The lady was painted digitally. The rest is a photoshop collage of photo parts.
