In this sunny still life, I used two main colours: spring green and sunny yellow. The flowers shine at you like a thousand suns. You also see dancing figures, a meditating couple, a couple looking at something captivated, a sunbathing woman and a woman taking a break near a bicycle. At the bottom right, a male is looking where to go. Hidden in the sunflowers you will find little birds, butterflies, a cow, a female pouring milk, a frog giving a hand kiss, a beetle, a toad, and I am sure I am forgetting something else. Everything in it I find funny, or beautiful, or fitting. All the elements are adaptations of photos I have taken over many years, on the road, with family and friends, around my own home, travelling and of people around me. I left the sunflowers intact, nothing has been edited on them. All dark figures have been manipulated with the filter 'lightening edge' so that they contrast well with all the bright green and yellow, but are not pitch black. In short, they have a brightening edge.
