About "Evening light at the Binnenhof, The Hague"

About the artwork

The Binnenhof in The Hague is one of the most recognisable places in the Netherlands, and during the blue hour, this place takes on something magical. In this photo, you can see how the historic buildings mirror themselves in the Hofvijver, while the soft evening light and fountain bring a sense of tranquillity and elegance. The skyline of The Hague looms on the horizon, bringing old and new together beautifully in one image.

My inspiration for this picture came from the contrast between the stately architecture of the Binnenhof and the modern high-rises behind it. The long shutter speed effect makes the water mirror-smooth and adds depth to the lights. The blue hour creates a mysterious atmosphere in which the city shows its best side. It is a place full of stories, history and a touch of grandeur.

This work is a stylish addition to any interior, especially for those who love Dutch cities, history and photography. It brings peace, class and a touch of Hague allure to the wall - perfect for the home or office.

About Roy Poots

In 2009 Roy Poots bought his very first SLR camera, a Canon EOS 450D. After having photographed everything for a while, he realised that he liked landscapes, architecture and (nocturnal) cityscapes the most by far. Since then, he has devoted himself to these subjects.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
