Huge giants walk the landscape of Kruger National Park in South Africa: the elephants.
With their grey skin, which feels like wrinkled leather, the elephants move thoughtfully through the open plains and dense forests.
Their ears flutter like fans and their tusks gleam in the sunlight. The sound of their footsteps betrays their presence from afar.
They form close-knit family groups.
The elephants of Kruger National Park are not only inhabitants of this wilderness, but contribute to the ecological balance of this breathtaking part of Africa.
The Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the largest game reserves in the world. The park covers an area of about 19,485 square kilometres.
