About ‘Ecoprint Ginkgo leaf’ by Liesbeth Bulk

New at Werk aan de Muur: a unique print of a ginkgo leaf. Made using a special, artisanal technique: ecoprinting. In this magical steaming process, the leaf leaves a natural print on fabric. As you unroll the steaming hot fabrics, the shapes and colours slowly appear - an image that comes to life on the air. Each print is full of beautiful, unexpected details; each leaf tells its own story. A powerful symbol, the ginkgo leaf represents endurance, resilience, lens wisdom and hope.

This serene depiction has a subtle colour palette of earthy tones on a neutral background. The ecoprint is made on classic cloth: a flat-weave woven cotton. This gives this print its soft character and timeless appeal. The calm work is perfect for a minimalist or Japandi interior. But it can also work very well in a busy space to create a point of calm with this work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
