About ‘Eco print with maple leaf’ by Liesbeth Bulk

Eco-printing is a special technique where the plant makes a natural print. In this image, on a beautiful, twill-woven cotton. In this work, I chose one type of leaf: maple leaves. A combination of the large leaves of the wild field maple - which stands next to my studio - and the pointed Asian garden variety.
The wild blackberries were an experiment; these give the dark prints. If you look closely, you can recognise another blackberry in them. The white prints are petals sprinkled loosely over the collage. The maple leaves react very strongly in the steam bath and make a razor-sharp print.
The blue comes from the pigment bluewood I used around the leaves. The light lines at the top are the imprint of the binding thread used to tie the ecoprint together before it goes into the steam pot.
An enchanting scene that reminds me of a night sky under a bright moon.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
