Walking along the beach at Playa Rincon de San Josecito in Costa Rica, I saw this piece of tree on the shoreline.
And I immediately saw an idea for a nice photo.
The weather was nice, the sea waves nearby were quite high and because the sun was shining on the waves, it gave the seawater a nice colour.
So I walked around it to see what would give the best picture.
Then I waited for a nice wave to complete the picture.
Eventually it came rolling in and I printed the moment the wave broke.
