The focus is on the head and part of the body of this butterfly, which is enjoying the sunshine among the leaves. The blurred wings and background give a dreamy effect to the image. You do see certain patterns in the wings as the sun hits them. The colour palette is very fine, giving it a certain tranquillity. The photo was deliberately taken from below because we don't often see butterflies like this. The photographer was lucky that this butterfly wanted to pose long enough, and posing she certainly does!
