Art by other artists also hangs in studio LHB. What the art has in common is that they all contain an element of tranquillity. Ineke painted this painting at my book presentation Living is learning. We may give ourselves permission to learn. Learning is a medicine against striving. Each time, you need courage to enter new territory.

Ineke van der Zwaag on 'Door of courage':
"Silently she stands in front of the wooden door, her fingers touching the latch. Behind her the world she knows, the routine of passes and familiar mirrors.
But in front of her lies something new, something unknown. For a moment she looks down at herself, her dress feels too thin, her body too fragile. What if she is not strong enough?
Then she thinks of the music that always beats in her heart, a spark deep inside that brought her to this place. Courage, she thinks, is not the absence of fear, but choosing to go on anyway. Carefully, she pushes open the door. Light streams in, warm and inviting. She takes a step. One step is enough."
