Walking along the river Our in Luxembourg, I found dewberries, cow parsley, barnyard wormwort and fantastic thistles. We bivouacked with the Volkswagen bus along the flowing water and there I set up a first sample painting for this bouquet. I found the blue vase in an abandoned thrift shop in an old farmhouse nearby. It was a lovely languid holiday where summer solitude led us to poetry and painting. It rained a lot and then we sat under the tent canvas reading our poems to each other. This bouquet therefore breathes for me of a languid summer by the river.
The advantage of this work is that its variety of colours makes it fit into various interiors. It has been worked with several layers.
