About ‘Detail of the Gullfoss in southern Iceland’ by Gerry van Roosmalen
The Gullfoss is the largest waterfall in southern Iceland. The waterfall plunges down two steps into a 70-meter-deep gorge. The first stage is best visible. This 11-meter-high waterfall is the porch of the 22-meter high waterfall that creates so much mist that only a little sunlight is enough to make a rainbow appear.
