About "Detail of abstract glass patterns from postmodern architecture in Berlin"

About the artwork

The artwork shows an architectural detail of the glass façade of the Futurium in Berlin. The black and white photograph focuses on the geometric structure of the façade, which consists of a large number of triangular and rectangular glass elements. Light reflections and shadows create a multi-layered pattern that appears both technical and graphic. The clear lines and abstract visualisation leave room for interpretation.

The inspiration for this work was the question of how the future can be visualised - not as a vision, but as a built reality. The Futurium, as a place for questions about the future, offers an ideal basis for this exploration with its striking architecture. I was particularly interested in how order, complexity and transparency overlap in the façade.

With this picture I want to create a calm, focussed atmosphere. It invites you to engage with structure, perspective and perception - without the distraction of colour, but with depth through form and light.

In interior design, this work acts as a modern, graphic accent. It is particularly suitable for minimalist or architectural room concepts and brings a clear, structuring effect to living or working areas. The black and white aesthetic makes it versatile and timeless.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
