About the artwork

This photo captures the De Rotterdam building in a way that feels almost otherworldly. The upper part of the towers disappears into a thick mist, giving the structure a mysterious, monolithic presence. The choice of black and white enhances the moody atmosphere and emphasizes the repetitive vertical lines of the facade. It’s a study in contrast and minimalism—the sharp geometry of the building cutting into the softness of the fog.

The composition is clean and centered, with the tallest elements forming a staggered rhythm across the frame. There’s a powerful sense of scale, but it’s made strangely abstract by the haze. The light is diffused and even, which flattens the shadows and lets the texture of the grid-like glass and steel dominate. By removing any hint of context or street-level activity, the image strips architecture down to pure form. It’s a quiet shot, but it leaves a strong visual impression. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
