About ‘Dawn over the clouds’ by Marcel Hechler

After a night at the Ramolhaus at a good 3,000 metres, I set off early in the morning — down over the Ramoljoch towards Vent. The whole valley was still shrouded in a thick sea of clouds, and only the peaks of the Gurgler Kamm rose above it.

To my right, the mountain dropped away in rough, reddish-brown boulders, already warmed by the first rays of the sun. In front of it, the endless white of the clouds; behind it, the ridges and glaciers, shimmering quietly in the soft light. A single pointed peak, the Hochwilde, jutted out of the mist — like an island in the middle of the sea.

What carried me most that morning was the tranquillity. No hustle and bustle, no noise, just the light slowly growing warmer. It was precisely this feeling of vastness and serenity that I wanted to take with me.
The warm rock in the foreground gives the image stability and depth, bringing the cool mountain world a little closer. As a large panorama, it works well in living rooms or bedrooms with calm, nature-inspired décor — wherever an earthy, warm tone is welcome.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
