Vibrant yellow dandelion flowers are captured from a low angle against a bokeh background, highlighting the striking pattern of its petals. The underside of the flowers is also clearly visible, showing the green sepals and the structure supporting the petals.
Dandelion, from French dent-de-lion, means “lion’s tooth”. Now you know why … ;) So many people try to eradicate this "weed" from their paths and lawns but look at just how beautiful a flower this is and, moreover, it flowers very early in the year and is an important early source of nectar and pollen for honeybees and wild bees.
