In the deep blue of this cyanotype lies a story of layers and connection. What at first glance stands alone, turns out on closer inspection to be interwoven with the other. Each form carries its own history, its own place within the whole.
From a systemic perspective, this print invites us to reflect on what is both visible and invisible. The dark lines touch, intersect, influence each other - just like people within families, organisations and communities. There is a dynamic beyond what the eye can see.
Curiosity opens the door here. Not to judge, but to perceive. To ask: What is really going on? What place do I occupy? What is still unspoken?
Looking with an open mind creates space. Space for connection. For acknowledgement of what is there. For restoring what may have been forgotten or excluded.
This print reminds us that nothing stands alone. Everything is part of a bigger picture. And by being curious, we take the first step towards healing that whole - gently, honestly and connected.

In the cyanotype technique lies the origin of photography. Working with the elements: sun, water, air and natural materials creates an intuitive process - you never know exactly what the outcome will be.

The various blue (=cyan) to deep blue colours are characteristic of this technique. This application of cyanotype is innovative and rarely (if ever) shown in this way.
