About ‘Costa Rica’ by Andre Wilkens

Beach in Costa Rica.
We stayed in the northern town of Chuitoa. There was a local guide who had contacts with an Indian community living in a protected forest area.
We to the eastern tip of Costa Rica. The border of Panama at 500 meters. We had to cross a 100 meter wide river with a suspension bridge with 4 ropes. The only way there. Hold on to the top 2 ropes. On the bottom are the aging wobbly planks. Often there is a way. Walking through an impassable jungle and were welcomed by the Chief. They lived in trees. A large floor with a thatched roof. The kitchen consisted of a fire with a cooking pot above it. Most of them were lounging in a hammock and to my surprise watched a flat TV screen of 1 meter wide. They made their own food and medicines from nature. I had to go to the toilet, which was downstairs behind the thickest tree. I heard near the beach of the Atlantic Ocean and went there. Beautiful beach, palm trees, sand and sea.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
