About ‘Common Tern (Sterna hirundo) with forage fish’ by Jan Barthodzie
The common tern (Sterna hirundo) is a species of bird in the subfamily of terns (Sterninae). It is a widespread but not very common breeding and summer bird in Central Europe. During migration periods, many migrants can also be observed in Central Europe.

"Let the most absent-minded man fall into the deepest reverie - put that man on his feet, set him in motion, and he will lead you unerringly to the water." (Herman Melville)
It could be that this is why most of my photos are taken by the water - it magically attracts me. In addition to the motifs of my hometown of Hamburg, I take photos while travelling (I like to travel in an old VW bus) and in nature.
