About ‘Coastal idyll with lighthouse’ by Oliver Lahrem

When you think of holidays by the sea, images of beaches, waves and lighthouses immediately spring to mind.

These striking and highly visible structures are true landmarks of all coastal areas of the world.
With their beacons, they safeguarded shipping for many centuries and guided sailors into harbours.

Lighthouses are true symbols of holidays by the sea.
Naturally, I was also drawn to the lighthouses during a holiday on the North Sea coast.
One of the most famous lighthouses is the one at Westerhever, near the well-known spa and holiday resort of Sankt Peter Ording.
I wandered around the landscape around the lighthouse, also looking for nice pictures.
Just as I reached a small pond, a beautiful white cumulus cloud appeared over the lighthouse. This cloud was also reflected in the water of the pond.
With the swaying green grass, it was a great landscape that was well worth photographing.
The red and white colouring of the lighthouse contrasts beautifully with the blue of the sky and the green of the meadows.
An idyllic picture of the coast that brings back memories of a past holiday, or one to come.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
