Portugal's beautiful west coast, located between Lisbon and Porto. Called the Silver Coast, begins north of the Costa de Lisboa. The coastline of this region is called the 'Silver Coast' because of its golden-white beaches that contrast sharply with the often heavy rock formations along the coast. The position of the sun regularly makes the water sparkle silver. Due to the wind from the Atlantic Ocean, which often gives the big waves the final push in their strength, the violence the coastal strip has to endure can be seen on the erosion and erosion in many places. Because in many places it is possible to walk on the rocks via landscaped paths, the view from the coast over the Atlantic Ocean and along the rocky coastline is fabulous. Added to this is a great wealth of plants that glide over the rocks in a highly variable blanket, creating a constantly changing palette of flowers with shades of green interspersed with the seasonal colours of the blooms. As icing on that cake, there are then the many bees and butterflies that feast on the nectar of this very generously laid table with the food necessary for them.
All in all, a delight to walk on together, the wind in the hair, tasting the salty salt on lips and tongue. Catching memories with the camera and capturing them for later, to share and enjoy with others, trying to enjoy those wonderful moments along that fantastic Portuguese coast through images.
