Bumper cars at an abandoned fair in Pripyat near Chernobyl. The nuclear disaster in 1984 with reactor number 4 in Chernobyl meant that the city of 40,000 inhabitants had to be evacuated. This image was photographed with an infrared sensor at a wavelength of 550 nanometres, giving everything that lives an almost radioactive red glow. The camera has been converted so that the chip only sees light in that wavelength.
