About the artwork

View of the rocky coast of Brittany, France, with a calm sea and a vast horizon. Low shrubs and vegetation grow in the foreground, while the coastline stretches in an arc towards the distance. The rocks on the waterline form natural patterns, interspersed with gravel and seaweed.

The Atlantic Ocean is remarkably calm here, with hardly any wave action and a gentle reflection of the sky. The blue tones of the water contrast with the earthy colours of the coastal landscape, in which greens, browns and greys alternate.

This type of landscape is characteristic of northwestern France, where the coast is formed by granite, slate and jagged rocky outcrops. The shot captures a moment of clear weather, in which the view is open and wide.

This image brings together themes of coastal geology, tidal range, seascape and natural vegetation. The composition invites stillness and shows the relationship between land and sea in a region with a strong maritime character.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
