About "Boezemmolen no. 6, Haastrecht - High tide"

About the artwork

Boezemmolen No. 6 is a windmill in Haastrecht in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland. It is a round stone mill with a pronounced bell shape. With a flight of more than thirty meters, this is the mill with the largest flight in the Netherlands. It's the last of the original seven mills that kept things dry along the Vlist.

In the Hooge Boezem of the Zuid-Hollands Landschap, water is buffered during heavy rainfall. This is how they keep their feet dry in Haastrecht. The bosom is behind the mill. It is the intention that the mill will soon grind a part full again to show how this used to go. No problem for water birds and meadow birds, as long as this happens outside the breeding season. You can see all the famous meadow birds here. The cycle path leads through this beautiful, wide peat bog area.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
