Low above the still water, a kingfisher shoots by, a flash of blue and orange colouring the sky. Its wings almost touch the surface, and in the reflecting water a second bird appears - equally colourful. It seems to dance along with its own reflection, at one with the current and the light.
The scene is brief but mesmerising: water and bird, colour and movement, brought together in an instant that lingers like a painting in the memory.
