About ‘Blue hyacinth in convex vase’ by Atelier BIS
Never knew the hyacinth was related to the asparagus. Learned something again.
Personally I think it looks more like a bunch of blue grapes. From afar, that is - up close they are gracefully shaped bells, each spreading a wonderful perfume. An ideal model for a painter!

Emy Franck studied Drawing and Dutch at the New Teacher Training in Utrecht and Graphic Design at the HKU.
She works as a freelance designer and illustrator. In her spare time she paints, draws and writes.
Typical of her work is a rich use of color and a loose style. She is sparing with details: does not fill in too much.
A painting is finished when it is just barely finished.
