About "Black knight butterfly on flower"

About the artwork

Vietnam - The black butterfly shown in the photo is a "Common Mormon" (Papilio polytes), a common butterfly in South and Southeast Asia. It was photographed here on the Con Dao archipelago in Vietnam, where it is often found in tropical gardens, forest edges and light-rich vegetation zones. This butterfly is characterised by its deep black wings with clearly defined, creamy white bands and slightly curved hind wings with two discreet tail appendages. While it appears almost velvety and shadowy in flight, its colour pattern is clearly visible as soon as it settles on nectar plants - as here on a Lantana flower. The photo captures not only the graceful movement of the moth, but also the interaction between insect and flower, which is of great importance for the pollination of tropical plants. The Common Mormon is an adaptable butterfly that occurs both in cultivated plantations and in native vegetation - an example of how diverse and vibrant Vietnam's insect world is. The picture is suitable for topics such as biodiversity, tropical butterflies, pollination, nature photography or ecological relationships.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
