Black and white with a splash of color!
Floating leaves on their way to the light
Warm weather causes growth of algae on the water and leaves are already falling off in summer. On the still water surface, tree leaves reflect bright black. Clouds also reflect in the water. The leaves and algae float away into the light and there they also disperse. It is a dynamic whole that you keep looking at.
I am working on looking for deeper layers of reflection and thus mixing the real images with deeper layers.
Here the algae lie as small plaques on the water. where the algae are missing, space is created for the reflection of the birch tree and even further away the reflection of the clouds can be seen. The scene is provided with another dimension by the brown colored floating leaf. Also, the floating leaf breaks the gray-black tones.
I would recommend this photo for a sleek interior in a place where you keep looking at it.
