Arnhem Central Station is photographically a great place. Not only on the inside, also on the outside. Like here on the forecourt where the trolleybuses stop. You can see here the wavy roof of the new station building and the electric cables of the trolleybus.
Thus, on this summer afternoon in July 2020, I had quickly found my setting. And the people passing by became silhouettes with long shadows in the backlight.
Just like this man! He was walking toward the train station with a bag in his hand. What I love about this "moment décisif" or decisive moment, is that you can hardly distinguish the passerby's head from the bus, but one and all becomes clear in the shadows. After all, he is holding a bag. From shopping?
I was deliberately concerned with making persons unrecognizable in the picture; after all, I respect everyone's privacy. Perhaps nice to see: this man has dreadlocks!
