Some portraits tell a story, but *The Berber Queen* seems to embody an entire history. This majestic long-haired cat is draped in traditional Berber attire, richly adorned with silver jewellery, ancient coins and colourful accents that evoke centuries-old North African traditions. Her bright green eyes form the radiant centrepiece of the image and seem to look directly at the viewer, as if she knows the secrets of ancient caravan routes, mountain villages and vast deserts.
The warm earth tones, refined patterns and authentic details create an atmosphere in which culture, history and fantasy blend seamlessly. Although the cat is clearly the main subject, the background also tells a story. Traditional carpets, pottery and soft, warm colours enhance the mysterious ambience and lend the work an almost timeless quality. This artwork combines the elegance of cats with the rich symbolism of Berber culture. The result is a portrait that radiates both strength and tranquillity. The intricate details in the jewellery and textiles invite you to rediscover them time and again, so that every glance reveals something new. Thanks to its warm colours and striking character, this piece is a real eye-catcher in both modern and classic interiors. For lovers of cats, world cultures and imaginative art, this is an image that continues to fascinate and invites you to drift off into a world full of traditions, stories and mysticism.
Photography has been my passion since 1975. Whereas in the past I often photographed people, I now mainly focus on photographing landscapes, nature and animals.
