About "Benimaurell, green fields and the Vall de Laguar"

About the artwork

Hiking in the Sierra del Penyó offers fantastic views of the mountainous landscape. This picture is dedicated to the traditional mountain village of Benimaurell, which is located in the idyllic hinterland of the province of Alicante. The houses of the village shine brightly and form the eye-catcher in the green landscape. The region is characterised by mountains, valleys and gorges, but also by green fields and agriculture. The Sierra del Penyó rises between the two valleys Vall de Pop and Vall de Laguar.

I am particularly fascinated by the vast mountain landscapes, regional history and the rugged shapes of the weathered rock. They bear the marks of time and, in my opinion, symbolise the pure beauty of nature. When I am in the mountains and look at the rocks, I think about the meaning of time. Over years, millennia, millions of years, the mountains have been shaped by the forces of Mother Nature. But people have also left their mark.

This photo is inspired by the tranquillity and remoteness that makes hiking in the province of Alicante a very special natural experience. The view of Benimaurell, the Vall de Laguar and the green fields should bring the scenic beauty of the Spanish mountains into your home.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
