About ‘Castillo de la Granadella - Ruin at the Mediterranean Sea’ by Adriana Mueller

Romantic ruins of a historic fortress on the Mediterranean coast. The picturesque Castillo de la Granadella was built in 1739. During the Renaissance, the fortifications served as an observation post and to protect the coast from Berber pirates. It was part of a defense system on the Valencian coast.
