About ‘Begijnhof Breda’ by JPWFoto

Een geliefde stek in Breda om te bezoeken: het Begijnhof. Een plek midden in het centrum waar rust en sereniteit nog overheersen. Met een paar stappen vanuit het drukke centrum, treed je zo in een andere wereld. In 2017 viert het Begijnhof haar 750 jarige bestaan. De laatste begijn van Breda, Cornelia Frijters, overleed in 1990. Maar de huidige bewoners koesteren nog steeds de sfeer die hier al eeuwenlang aanwezig is.
Deze foto maakte ik op een vroege voorjaarsochtend. Een sterk perspectief geeft een zicht op de binnenplaats met fantastische tuin. Omgezet in zwart-wit om het historische karakter te onderstrepen.
Een prachtige en herkenbare blik op Breda. Bekroond tot de Beste Binnenstad van Nederland 2017.

Colour negative became slide, complemented by a fascination for black and white photography. I converted the Kodak T-Max, Tri-X and Ilford negation films in my darkroom into powerful black and white slides. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
