About ‘Panorama Breda Spanjaardsgat’ by JPWFoto

A broad view of fantastic Breda from the quay Spanjaardsgat. Years of historic highlights are captured in this photo. The castle of Breda with Duiventoren and Garnet Tower, in which the current KMA is located. In 1590 it was here with a spectacular list with a peat garrison Breda recaptured from the Spaniards. The troops of Prince Maurits were secretly hidden in the ship, that was admitted by the Spaniards for the fuel. In the background the tower of the 15th century Great Church of Breda, also called the Church of Our Lady Church. An icon that circumference from the meadow is visible. This place is pretty much the access to the sparkling nightlife of Breda.
