In the heart of the quiet village of Poeldijk, in the middle of Westland, looms an imposing church, the Batholomeuskerk, its spire reaching proudly to the sky. Its architecture shows craftsmanship and history, with Gothic elements combining strength and grace. It is a picture that exudes tranquillity and timelessness. Surrounding the church are well-kept gardens and charming houses hidden among the greenery. To the right is a handwritten sign with a warm, rural touch: "Grapes for sale" - a nod to rural life, where tradition and community are still tangible.
