The avenue between Eldagsen and Völksen in the Calenberger Land south of Hanover is one of my favourite routes and is usually very busy.
Now the route was closed for a few weeks due to roadworks.
One evening after a heavy rain shower, the sun came out again and the light flitted across the road.
A good opportunity to try out my new Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 ED VR, which allows me to take blur-free hand-held pictures even at slow shutter speeds thanks to the image stabiliser.
As I generally like landscape photos with long telephoto lenses because they compress everything so beautifully, I took a series of photos of this beautiful street with 500 mm at almost open aperture. The blur emphasises the depth effect of this picture.
The black and white version of this motif was so well received in the Facebook Nikon Forum that I decided to offer the colour version here at Artheroes.
It radiates calm and determination and creates a cosy atmosphere in the living room, hallway or bedroom. Ideal size: Ideally as large as possible, whether as a canvas print or poster.
