I took this photo of a crown of a deciduous tree in the Strokelbos near Harderwijk on the Veluwe, a piece of deciduous forest owned by the municipality of Harderwijk. As you can see from the colours on the trees, it was already autumn when I took this photo, and the weather was still sunny. You can still see bits of blue sky between the leaves. I like the shapes of the branches between the coloured leaves. To take this photo, I took 7 photos with different exposures and then merged them into 1 well-exposed photo to show the colours beautifully. Fortunately, it was windless when I took the photos for this HDR so the leaves stayed in the same place. To keep my camera steady, I put it on a tripod and used a remote control to minimise camera shake.
