A single autumn leaf in the river Hoegne in the Belgian High Fens. The yellow leaves of the maple tree gave a nice contrast to the dark rocks, rocks whose jagged surface in turn contrasts nicely with water, which has a soft and smooth look thanks to the use of a long shutter speed. Especially in autumn, when rainfall often causes more water to flow through the streams and rivers of the High Fens and Ardennes, I can experiment endlessly with images and compositions like these.
