Taking a flat bottomed sailing ship out on the Wadden Sea is one of the most beautiful things you can do as a sailor. At the end of the sailing day, sail the ship out of the channel and run aground at the edge of the channel and then take a walk on the sandbank, while the sun colours the sky and you hear nothing around you but wind, waves and birds.
