About the artwork
This Asian woman's portrait was done as a digital watercolour in Adobe Fresco and created with a drawing tablet. The woman has her eyes closed; in the lee of that moment, shades of gold and red softly light up around her face. Large flowers bloom in her hair; the transparent layers and small gold accents give the scene a sense of opulence and stillness.
