Artistic panorama of gold beneath the ground

by TheXclusive Art

The ‘Gold Beneath the Ground’ panoramic artistic painting depicts undulating layers of earth stretching across the full width of the picture. Bands of deep black, cool grey and bright white shift horizontally over one another, interspersed with radiant golden veins that run through the rock like veins of precious metal. Small splashes of gold and white are scattered throughout, as if individual grains had drifted down whilst the painting was being created.

The effect is reminiscent of a cross-section of the Earth, revealing millions of years of sedimentation at a single glance. The layers undulate smoothly and, in some places, converge into dense, dark clusters, whilst elsewhere they break open and let light through. The gold never follows a straight line but twists and turns in tandem with the movement of the rock. This fluid technique lends the whole piece an organic quality, as if the sculpture were still slowly in motion.

That interplay of black, white and gold looks unmistakably chic. Above a sofa, in a dining room or on a minimalist wall, the work instantly lends the space a touch of refinement. For anyone who loves abstract art, marble-like textures or gold accents in interior design, this is a print that’s easy to incorporate. All the riches of the earth, neatly laid out in a single line.
