A prism glass in diamond shape photographed. Sometimes I go into a second-hand shop looking for objects to photograph. This could be anything, a beautiful glass, an old utensil or just a thing with a nice texture or special pattern. In the glass department, I found two prism shapes. Neatly packed in the original box. I could definitely use that for a photo! As a photo technique, I used multiple exposure here. I took two photos of one prism glass interchangeably. For the second photo, I tilted the camera a little so that the two glass shapes are nicely mixed up in the picture. The lighting used creates a special effect. The light is nicely refracted by the glass; the incidence of light is beautiful. In terms of colour and processing, I chose to keep the image dark in vintage tones. The dark retro colour gives this photo a special and warm look but certainly also creates a mysterious atmosphere!

I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
