Amber Abstract Painting: A Lonely Tree Rooted in Waves of Wood by Surreal Media

A solitary tree stands on a hill, but that hill is not grass. It is a broad wave of wood grain in shades of honey, amber and deep chestnut brown, flowing across the picture from left to right. The trunk twists upwards like a ribbon; the branches grow finer and darker, fading into a pale grey sky. In the crown, patches of ochre and orange glow. Black cracks run through the wave of wood, branching out like the boughs above, as if the tree were also reflected beneath the ground. And then there is that single white, hair-thin line: it runs horizontally through the trunk and forms the horizon. Here and there, small accents of purple and sunny yellow appear.

I thought of a tree that chooses its spot and stays put, even when the wind blows. It began with the feeling that everything that grows bears traces of what it has been through. The atmosphere is warm and autumnal against a cool, tranquil background. It is a digital artwork with the appearance of thick, sweeping brushstrokes, featuring layers of wood and fine cracks.

The message for me: steadfastness combined with gentleness. Roots that hold fast, branches that move with the wind. On the wall, the piece brings warmth and movement. It appeals to people who love walking, trees and sweeping landscapes. You could hang it in a living room, a study or above a dining table.
