Fishing from the beach is almost over. The time when fishermen in small boats went out to sea daily to earn a living under the shore. In Aldeburgh a number of these little boats still lie as silent witnesses. Slowly, under the influence of hot weather and the years, they will decay as silent witnesses of a time that will not return and that we can now view only with feelings of romance and nostalgia.
