This photo was taken on the Ermeloscche Heide near Ermelo in the Veluwe. It is a fairly large heathland where there are also groups of trees, so it is a varied landscape. The trees on this heath are mainly birch, oak and Scots pine. You can therefore see in this photo a view between the trees where you can see more deciduous trees in the distance. The morning of this photo was cloudy with sunny moments, you can therefore see the sunlight and shadows of the trees on the heath. When I took this photo, the heather was just starting to bloom, you can see some purple on the heather.
