I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest near Harderwijk in the Veluwe. This small mushroom was on moss-covered piece of dead wood. I just don't know what kind of mushroom it is, in any case it was beautiful to photograph. To take this photo I had to hang my camera upside down under my tripod, afterwards I flipped the photo in post-processing so it looks right again. I also used a small reflection screen to better highlight the underside of the hat. I am not sure what kind of moss this mushroom is, but you see it more often in the Leuvenum forest. Next to the mushroom, you can see another beech leaf lying on the moss. In the background you can see another hill where there are more moss-covered pieces of wood and fallen leaves.
