I took this photo of a Scotch highlander in the Harderbroek near Dronten. The nature reserve was created after Flevoland was reclaimed. The Scottish highlanders were released into this area for grazing so that the area remains somewhat open. This photo shows two Scottish Highlanders, one lying under a tree and the other more in the open field. Both highlanders were ruminating in the grass. You can hardly tell from the nature reserve itself that this forest lies at the bottom of the former Zuiderzee, there are a few straight canals running through this area.
